Safety Measures

Due to COVID-19 we will need to keep to a 6ft distance (if possible). I will be wearing a mask (if you're little ones have not been around people with masks, please explain this to them so they will not be scared! My mask is fun with paw prints.)

I would also ask PLEASE that reschedule if you or someone in your family is sick. I will not charge a rescheduling fee due to an illness. If anyone starts to feel ill during the session, please let me know and I will be happy to reschedule.

For outdoor sessions, I have a lens that is very long in the focal range and will be using this lens for our session. This always allows me to stay at least 10-15 away. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for new clients. I am very much a "hands on" person and find this awkward and inconvenient as well.

For indoor sessions, I do have a shorter lens and will try be a little closer, I do have an air purifier that I will run during this session. Please know, that while it is not loud, it may seem so to sensitive ears.

After you book a session, we will schedule a time for a consultation. We will then go over your expectations of the session, who will be photographed and if there are any special needs that need to be met. We will also discuss why you want photos and if you have anything you would like to include in your session. This is the time to ask all questions, but do not worry! If you forget something, I am just a phone call or text away.

Beginning of Session

Before we start with the photos, I will look at everything you have brought and will go over the poses you want to have again. I will also go over any poses that I think will look good.

After the Session

We will plan a time for us to go over your gallery (either together or virtually).
After your session, I will be working hard behind the scenes to cull the best photos (eliminating duplicates, blurs, and blinks). I will edit 1 photo in my editing style so that you may get an idea of what the rest of your photos will look like. Your gallery is typically ready within 2-3 hours of your session.
Depending on your package, I will soon deliver a watermarked proofing gallery so you can select your favorite images to keep or upgrade your package after seeing the photos.
The gallery will be deleted within an hour after consultation.
Look online for ideas about wall gallery displays. There are tons of beautiful ideas for every style and budget. In your online gallery, you can conveniently order high quality prints, framed photos, and canvases. I am more than happy to help you pick out the right product for your home!

After Gallery Viewing

My style of editing is very time consuming and usually takes me a week to finish a session. We will then have one last viewing of the watermarked, edited photos that you chose to make sure everything is to your liking. If you are happy then I will send off your order (prints will NOT be watermarked; photos are only watermarked during the viewing). My pro lab usually takes around two weeks for prints and signature albums. Our canvas wall art and storybook albums take a bit longer; around 4-5 weeks. I typically have them sent to my office so that I may present them to you personally and help you with any placement of your art. Some clients prefer to have everything shipped directly to their house. We will discuss this in the last review of the edited photos.
